Navigating 90 years

1928

G.P. Turner & Adams established in Wagga Wagga

After school, Les Adams joined the Sydney firm Starkey & Starkey in 1919 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1926. In 1927 Adams joined, then later went into partnership with G.P. Turner, initially running a new Sydney office, plus establishing a Wagga office in 1928. Mr. Adams formally retired in 1966.

1948

A new firm A.L. Adams & Partners is created

Les Adams formed his own firm, A.L. Adams & Partners servicing Wagga Wagga, Lake Cargelligo and Henty.

1962

A.L. Adams & Partners expanded to servicing Local Government Audits

A.L. Adams & Partners acquired the Sydney firm Warton Thompson & Co. This firm was a major local government audit firm for many Sydney councils, such as Manly, Warringah, Ryde, Kogarah, plus many country councils, including Wagga Wagga.

1974

Companies unite to become Adams Kenneally White & Co

Merger between A.L. Adams & Partners, Kenneally O’Sullivan & Co and Colin E White & Co creating the firm as we know it today Adams Kenneally White & Co.

1976

AKW expands throughout southern NSW

The Wagga head office is complemented with six other regional offices and to this day continues to service a diverse range of clients who spread further and beyond.

1999

AKW grows in Gundagai

Adams Kenneally White purchased Butcher & Heaton in Gundagai.

2005

AKW expands into Tumut

Purchasing Elder Stuckey & Partners and MWC Accounting.

2006

AKW Financial Services commenced

Existing AKW services expanded to include Financial Planning & Advice.

2017

AKW grows in Griffith

AKW purchases D.M. Budd & Co in Griffith on the retirement of Danny Budd.

2019

AKW expands wealth management team

To further develop the AKW intergenerational Family Office offering.

2024

AKW expands into Deniliquin

AKW merges with Fleming Partners in Deniliquin.
