We are currently seeking a Financial Planning Assistant, also known as a Client Service Manager, to join our team.

Your Role

You will play a crucial role in supporting our team of experienced wealth creators and ensuring the smooth operation of our client service processes, and for those who wish to go even further, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a deep understanding of the financial planning industry. The choice is yours.

Either way, this position serves as an excellent entry point for individuals interested in pursuing a career in administration and/or the financial services sector. Responsibilities will include:

  • providing administrative support to our AKW Wealth team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence,

  • assisting in preparing and maintaining client files and documentation,

  • conducting research and gathering relevant information for financial plans and reports,

  • collaborating with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of client deliverables,

  • communicating with clients in a professional and courteous manner, addressing inquiries and providing general assistance,

  • supporting the implementation of investment strategies and portfolio management activities, and

  • staying updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines.

  • A strong interest in financial planning and a genuine desire to learn and grow in the field.

  • Qualifications or experience in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • A proactive and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
